Abstract: 
Schematic solutions and functional possibilities of the analog and digital signal conversion units and blocks of the modernized portable eight-channel system SKOP-8M for measurement and analysis of acoustic emission signals is described. It is shown that they are engineered according to the trends of modern circuit technology and application of the elementary base of the known world producers. The software description for the developed system is presented; its abilities for in-service application, that include data recording stages, preliminary treatment, visualization and storage of acoustic-emission information are illustrated. Schematic solutions for electronic units and blocks are considered, basic technical characteristics of the system are listed.
