Ukrainian Energetics Development Problems. Renewable and Non-Traditional Energy

Abstract: The necessity of the world development of renewable energy is described, as well as the principal reasons, determining the necessity of development of renewable energy and main pre-conditions for its development in Ukraine which are the power potential of renewable sources, scientific and industrial base, education. Basic directions of the applied researches of Institute of renewable energy of NAS of Ukraine, results and prospects of further development of renewable energy in Ukraine, scientific and technical possibilities of increase of technical and economical efficiency of the systems of energy supply on the basis of energy of renewable sources, and also base state of mastering of energy of renewable sources, are described.
Key words: renewable energy sources, wind energy, sun energy, geothermal energy, small hydro energetics, bioenergy.
