Abstract | The brief analysis of technology and the equipment for rolled wire manufacture on modern high- speed wire rolling mills is given; the influence of the second stage of cooling on rolled wire's structure and properties is investigated; the configuration for new technology of high speed air cooling of the rolled wire is offered; technology know how on the CIS's rolling mills and the reached degree of high carbon rolled wire quality are shown
